The kits available below are made from these of our yarn bases:
Moon Lorn is spun from 100% superwash merino wool. This amazingly soft wool is produced from US bred sheep, grazed on US soil, and spun and dyed in Pennsylvania. If you’re familiar with Tosh Merino Light, this yarn is it’s twin. Moon Lorn is spun as a single-ply, and as such, we don’t recommend it for socks, but it’s at it’s best in a shawl. Our Moon Lorn kits are priced at $20 per skein.
Rockshelter Sock is also 100% superwash merino wool, and it’s the softest sock yarn we’ve been able to find anywhere in the world. Our delicious Rockshelter Sock is a smooth, round, 4-ply yarn that excels in stitch definition. This is the yarn I prefer to knit with above any other, and I love the way the fabric that’s made from it feels. Rockshelter Sock kits are priced at $30 per skein.
Our Silk Traveler is 70% superwash merino and 30% mulberry silk. This yarn is made using the same superwash merino fiber that our Rockshelter yarns are, paired with the addition of silk for the most luxurious feel during knitting and wear that you can imagine. Silk Traveler glistens. It reminds me of the way freshly fallen snow looks under a bright, morning sun, when the surface looks like it’s littered with diamonds. Like Moon Lorn, Silk Traveler is a single, and is not recommended for socks. Kits made from Silk Traveler are priced at $35 per skein.
These are just a few of the Local Yarn Shops who stock our yarns and gradient kits, and can help you build or complete your masterpiece.
