014 Wales – Annwn – Sock

(1 customer review)

$ 30.00

Named for the paradisic otherworld of medieval Welsh epic, this Meadowcroft Dyeworks handpainted sock yarn is a blend of deep earthtones dappled with bright kelly greens and chartreuse, midnight blue and forest, caramel, olive, and rust. Spun from 100% merino wool, the yarn is irresistibly soft and squishy.

This colorway pools; that is to say, it’s not uncommon for the same color to stack on top of itself from row to row, or even to create a spiraling effect especially when working in the round. We’re working away from colorways that pool. Unless this is in-stock, it can only be ordered by an approved wholesale account, and then only in quantities of 6 or more. There’s no minimum order if in stock.

    So glad I could find this color. Purchased at a LYS but wanted more. Beautiful colors!
