Stars in the Evening is our first limited edition colorway. It was available through Aug 8, 2025, but will be back again in the early summer of 2026. It’s the same dye formula as When I Close My Eyes, but Stars in the Evening was only available on our luxuriously soft Donegal Cottage Tweeds yarns in fingering and DK weights. It was also available during this limited time at a very special price. With variegated colors reminiscent of the aurora borealis: apple, olive, and forest greens, bright blues and turquoise against a background of midnight, eggplant, violet, and wine, and random white, brown and black tufts.

I used my sock weight yarn to weave two scarves on my floor loom. They are lovely! The yarn was very nice to work with at 12 ends per inch. I wanted to attach a picture, but the website will not allow it.
