151 Blood Orange Pomander

This Meadowcroft Dyeworks hand dyed yarn derives its name from a decorative potpourri made by pressing cloves into an orange and allowing it to cure dry. Like the blood orange, it contrasts the raw sienna hues of pumpkin and persimmon with merlot, plum, and mauve, combining them all into a harmonious autumnal whole. This colorway is available in weights from lace to super bulky.

This colorway pools; that is to say, it’s not uncommon for the same color to stack on top of itself from row to row, or even to create a spiraling effect especially when working in the round.
