208 Amberina Art Glass

This Meadowcroft Dyeworks hand dyed yarn was named for a type of glass developed in the late 19th century which is colored with gold and turns from amber to deep ruby red with repeated heating and cooling. Inspired particularly by its modern iteration in Blenko’s ‘tangerine’ glass, this colorway is slightly  on tghe orange side of red, a tonal exploration of electric tomato reds variegated with ruby and persimmon. It’s available in weights from lace to super bulky.
