Paleo Sock is our first new yarn base since about 2016. Spun in Peru from 75% corriedale and 25% nylon, these generously plump, beefy skeins are a full 4 ounces / 115g / 439 yards / 400m.
Paleo Sock is a smooth, round, medium soft 3-ply yarn with a soft halo. It’s milled of 75% superwash corriedale fiber, a cross between Lincoln and Merino breeds and 25% nylon. While it’s not quite as buttery soft as merino, its staple is longer so it’s stronger, it pills less, and is still the same easy-care you’ve come to expect from other superwash wools. It feels stronger, and there’s nothing scratchy about this wool. It’s like a denser iteration of merino. We think you’ll be impressed with how ample these skeins are, too.
