A Meadowcroft Dyeworks handpainted sock yarn. This one grades from an intense, fiery yellow-orange, through magenta and garnet, violet and merlot, ending in dark aubergine and midnight blue.
A perfectly balanced blend of the strength and durability of nylon with the squishy softness of merino in a high-twist four-ply, this makes for an ideal sock yarn.
This colorway pools; that is to say, it’s not uncommon for the same color to stack on top of itself from row to row, or even to create a spiraling effect especially when working in the round.
