A Meadowcroft Dyeworks handpainted sock yarn variegated with the colors of a forest floor: cinnabar, rust and red wine, bittersweet yellow-oranges, apple and olive greens, jewel-like spruce greens, caramel and chocolatey browns.
A true sock yarn, this high-twist four-ply gains durability from its 25% nylon content without compromising the luxurious softness of its superwash merino base.
This colorway pools; that is to say, it’s not uncommon for the same color to stack on top of itself from row to row, or even to create a spiraling effect especially when working in the round.
