A Meadowcroft Dyeworks handpainted sock yarn inspired by the colors of west African textiles: coppery orange-browns, cinnabar and tomato, charcoal, aubergine, and indigo; spruce, olive, and bittersweet yellow. A perfectly balanced blend of the strength and durability of nylon with the squishy softness of merino in a high-twist four-ply, this makes for an ideal sock yarn.
This colorway pools; that is to say, it’s not uncommon for the same color to stack on top of itself from row to row, or even to create a spiraling effect especially when working in the round. We’re working away from colorways that pool. Unless this is in-stock, it can only be ordered by an approved wholesale account, and then only in quantities of 6 or more. There’s no minimum order if in stock.
