A Meadowcroft Dyeworks handpainted sock yarn inspired by the color palette in Rembrandt van Rijn’s painting “The Prodigal Son” – rich roasted coffee browns, bold cinnabar reds, rusty brown-oranges, and sun-dappled golden yellows, each with subtle variegations that create complex textures. A true sock yarn, this high-twist four-ply gains durability from its 25% nylon content without compromising the luxurious softness of its superwash merino base.
This colorway pools; that is to say, it’s not uncommon for the same color to stack on top of itself from row to row, or even to create a spiraling effect especially when working in the round. We’re working away from colorways that pool. Unless this is in-stock, it can only be ordered by an approved wholesale account, and then only in quantities of 6 or more. There’s no minimum order if in stock.
