This Meadowcroft Dyeworks handpainted sock yarn combines colors found in the flags of many African nations – shimmering emerald, olive, and spruce; bright, sunny yellows, bittersweet and cinnabar. This high-twist four-ply retains the squishiness that makes merino wool so irresistible without the scrunchy texture that high-nylon blends sometimes have.
This colorway pools; that is to say, it’s not uncommon for the same color to stack on top of itself from row to row, or even to create a spiraling effect especially when working in the round. We’re working away from colorways that pool. Unless this is in-stock, it can only be ordered by an approved wholesale account, and then only in quantities of 6 or more. There’s no minimum order if in stock.
