A Meadowcroft Dyeworks handpainted sock yarn variegated with the colors of nasturtium flowers: clear, sunny yellows, marigold, rust, cinnabar red, burgundy and fuchsia, set off against a background of aubergine, coffee bean, and wine.
A perfectly balanced blend of the strength and durability of nylon with the squishy softness of merino in a high-twist four-ply, this makes for an ideal sock yarn.
This colorway pools; that is to say, it’s not uncommon for the same color to stack on top of itself from row to row, or even to create a spiraling effect especially when working in the round.
