This Meadowcroft Dyeworks handpainted sock yarn is inspired by the colors of oxidized copper, blending oranges and golden yellows with turquoise, azure, and indigo, with touches of purple grey and olive-sage greens. A true sock yarn, this high-twist four-ply gains durability from its 25% nylon content without compromising the luxurious softness of its superwash merino base.
This colorway pools; that is to say, it’s not uncommon for the same color to stack on top of itself from row to row, or even to create a spiraling effect especially when working in the round. We’re working away from colorways that pool. Unless this is in-stock, it can only be ordered by an approved wholesale account, and then only in quantities of 6 or more. There’s no minimum order if in stock.

The colors are just as advertised and the yarn is very soft. I can’t wait to start using it!
