This Meadowcroft Dyeworks handpainted sock yarn combines quiet purplish hues – aubergine and mauve, cornflower-grey and lavender – with golden yellows – butter and caramel, tea and toast.
A true sock yarn, this high-twist four-ply gains durability from its 25% nylon content without compromising the luxurious softness of its superwash merino base.
This colorway pools; that is to say, it’s not uncommon for the same color to stack on top of itself from row to row, or even to create a spiraling effect especially when working in the round.
