This Meadowcroft Dyeworks handpainted silk blend yarn was named for Mayan king Pakal the Great. Its warm, earthy reds – burgundy, cinnabar, rust – are deceptively complex and seem to shimmer in the light. This is a very special single ply yarn made of 70% SW merino & 30% silk. It feels softer than any yarn I’ve felt before, and owing to the silk, displays color with a brilliance and translucence that’s spectacular.
