A Meadowcroft Dyeworks handpainted silk blend yarn inspired by the colors of patinated copper: fiery marigold oranges, rust and burnt sienna, deep teal and turquoise, grey-blues, verdigris and olive, cabernet and chocolate.
A yarn for yarn lovers, this shimmering single high twist is spun from 70% SW merino and 30% silk. It is as soft as soft can be, and the brilliance & luminescence of color are incomparable.
This colorway pools; that is to say, it’s not uncommon for the same color to stack on top of itself from row to row, or even to create a spiraling effect especially when working in the round.
