A Meadowcroft Dyeworks handpainted fingering weight yarn inspired by the colors of west African textiles: coppery orange-browns, cinnabar and tomato, charcoal, aubergine, and indigo; spruce, olive, and bittersweet yellow. The decadent single ply blends 70% superwash merino wool with 30% silk, yielding a yarn with the most extraordinary hand and the eye appeal of a candy store to a child.
This colorway pools; that is to say, it’s not uncommon for the same color to stack on top of itself from row to row, or even to create a spiraling effect especially when working in the round. We’re working away from colorways that pool. Unless this is in-stock, it can only be ordered by an approved wholesale account, and then only in quantities of 6 or more. There’s no minimum order if in stock.

Beautiful yarn. Lovely to work with. The silk gives the scarf/shawl I’m knitting a beautiful sheen. Gonna buy more of this stuff!
