100 Lady’s Slipper – Silk

This Meadowcroft Dyeworks handpainted silk-blend yarn blends cinnabar reds, rust oranges and bittersweet yellows with vibrant fuchsia, aubergine, and cornflower blue, with highlights of butter and cream.

The decadent single ply blends 70% superwash merino wool with 30% silk, yielding a yarn with the most extraordinary hand and the eye appeal of a candy store to a child.

This colorway pools; that is to say, it’s not uncommon for the same color to stack on top of itself from row to row, or even to create a spiraling effect especially when working in the round.
