This Meadowcroft Dyeworks handpainted fingering weight yarn blends intense, fiery red-orange and bright, true turquoise with calm earthtones: loden, forest and olive greens, maroon and nut brown. This stunning high-twist single spun from 70% SW merino and 30% silk is remarkably soft, and shows off color like nothing but silk can. It shimmers with brilliance and clarity, and the silk’s natural sheen reflects back light as though from within.

This colorway pools; that is to say, it’s not uncommon for the same color to stack on top of itself from row to row, or even to create a spiraling effect especially when working in the round. We’re working away from colorways that pool. Unless this is in-stock, it can only be ordered by an approved wholesale account, and then only in quantities of 6 or more.
