Inspired by a Kenyan clerical vestment, this Meadowcroft Dyeworks handpainted fingering weight yarn has a broad but unified palette: maroons and muted fuchsias, oranges and rusts, caramel and apple green, mustard and olive, cinnabar and turquoise. The 30% silk in this luxurious SW merino blend glistens in a way that’s reminiscent of sunlight on the snow, and the simple single-ply is smooth and strong.
This colorway pools; that is to say, it’s not uncommon for the same color to stack on top of itself from row to row, or even to create a spiraling effect especially when working in the round. We’re working away from colorways that pool. Unless this is in-stock, it can only be ordered by an approved wholesale account, and then only in quantities of 6 or more. There’s no minimum order if in stock.
