This Meadowcroft Dyeworks handpainted sport weight yarn is a cacophony of color: cinnabar and saffron, emerald and olive, cerulean and teal, greys that lean toward green or purple, dark-roast brown and aubergine, with myriad variations and richly variegated texture.
Its hand is invitingly soft in a crisp, bead-like high-twist three-ply, the ultimate luxury from 100% pure merino wool.
This colorway pools; that is to say, it’s not uncommon for the same color to stack on top of itself from row to row, or even to create a spiraling effect especially when working in the round.
