This Meadowcroft Dyeworks handpainted sport weight yarn is variegated in colors reminiscent of the aurora borealis: apple and olive, sprucey teals, bright blues and turquoise against a background of midnight, eggplant, violet, and wine.
Its hand is invitingly soft in a crisp, bead-like high-twist three-ply, the ultimate luxury from 100% pure merino wool.
This colorway pools; that is to say, it’s not uncommon for the same color to stack on top of itself from row to row, or even to create a spiraling effect especially when working in the round.
