This Meadowcroft Dyeworks handpainted super bulky yarn is variegated in colors reminiscent of the aurora borealis: apple and olive, sprucey teals, bright blues and turquoise against a background of midnight, eggplant, violet, and wine.

The slubby single-ply displays colors at their most painterly, combining cushy soft superwash merino with 20% nylon for added durability.

This colorway pools; that is to say, it’s not uncommon for the same color to stack on top of itself from row to row, or even to create a spiraling effect especially when working in the round.
