Inspired by a Kenyan clerical vestment, this Meadowcroft Dyeworks handpainted worsted weight yarn has a broad but unified palette: maroons and muted fuchsias, oranges and rusts, caramel and apple green, mustard and olive, cinnabar and turquoise.
Spun from 100% merino wool, the yarn is irresistibly soft and a pleasure to handle.
This colorway pools; that is to say, it’s not uncommon for the same color to stack on top of itself from row to row, or even to create a spiraling effect especially when working in the round.
